This format suits most uses, whether for everyday enjoyment or as a gift.
Our argan oil is cold-pressed within 48 hours of harvest, preserving all its natural nutrients. Rich in vitamin E (tocopherols), unsaturated fatty acids (oleic and linoleic) and plant sterols, it has an exceptional nutritional profile. In taste: lightly roasted, fruity, authentic. Produced by Berber women’s cooperatives in the Souss region (Morocco), in strict adherence to ancestral expertise. Zero additives, zero preservatives, 100% pure and natural.
Argan oil pressed within 48 hours
Our kernels are lightly toasted, then cold-pressed within 48 hours of harvest, with no solvent and no refining. That short window is what preserves the vitamin E (tocopherols) and the aroma.
The result is an amber oil with a clear toasted-hazelnut taste, rich in unsaturated fatty acids — oleic acid (omega 9) and linoleic acid (omega 6) — and in plant sterols.
How to cook with this argan oil
Use it raw, drizzled on just before serving: over a tomato salad, roast carrots, grilled fish, lentil soup, a tagine, or plain yoghurt with a little honey.
In Morocco it is simply dipped into with bread at breakfast. It is also the base ingredient of amlou. Allow one tablespoon per person: the flavour is strong and stands on its own.
Storage and shelf life
Keep the bottle upright with the cap closed, away from light and any heat source. A kitchen cupboard is enough; refrigeration is unnecessary and needlessly thickens the oil.
Unopened it keeps for about two years. Once opened, use it within six months for best results: beyond that it remains edible, but the aroma fades. A light sediment at the bottom of the bottle is normal.
Frequently asked questions
Is this argan oil edible?
Yes, exclusively. It is pressed from toasted kernels and intended for cooking. It is not a cosmetic oil.
What does food-grade argan oil taste like?
Toasted hazelnut, clear and slightly smoky, with a soft finish. It is markedly more aromatic than olive oil and is used in smaller quantities.
How many servings are in a 150 ml bottle?
About ten, allowing one tablespoon (15 ml) per person. Used two or three times a week, a bottle lasts roughly a month.
Can it be used on skin or hair?
That is not what it is for. Toasting the kernels gives it a pronounced smell that is unpleasant in cosmetic use. For skin you need cosmetic argan oil, pressed from raw kernels.
